Winter silliness!

Here are a couple pictures from Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007. They are taken in my driveway during a calm in the gale force winds of our blizzard. If you look close, you can see that Prancer is wearing a coat! She hated it....it is now going to put in with the garage sale items. We removed the coat shortly after this picture was taken and she seemed to enjoy herself a lot more. We did make Amber leave her coat on though! Ha-ha! We took a tape measure outside the next day and measured the snow and it was 2 feet 8 inches. Not the biggest snowfall on record here for a period of 36 hours, but enough snow for me!

I am looking forward to spring after all this. Especially since I received a lovely spring looking card in the mail from my dear friend Smalltown RN at "A Place I call Home"! It was just what I needed to chase those winter doldrums away and here it is just a couple days later and the sun is shining so brightly I can hardly see the computer screen as I type. I closed the blinds, just a little, I don't want to shut out that beautiful yellow glow reflecting off the snow covered backyard. My spirits are lifted and I want to thank Smalltown RN for starting that process in motion.

Oh that is so much snow. The doggie looks cute. Its little face is all covered in snow. LOL Looks like fun if you don't have to drive in it. My butt cheeks would be tight if I had to drive in it though.

Hugs! Have a great night and stay warm. Give the doggie a pet for me!

Just riding with hubby to take Amber the 33 miles to her house and the 33 miles back to our house, I white-knuckled it, tight-jawwed it, and butt cheek tighted it the whole way.

Prancer weighs more than Amber now and Amber finally made it to 60 pounds at the age of 11 3/4! Amber's a tine little thing....I think she always will be. I'll pet Prancer for you....you would like her and she would like you!!

Ah...I am blushing....I am glad you liked the card. Timing is everything don't you think. Kinda like when my Halloween parcel arrived when your hot water heater broke down. Or how did I know you liked snowmen when I sent you a card with a snowman on the front. funny how things like that happen.

Prancer looks so adorable.....and Amber looks like she is having a hoot.

Thinking of you my friend!

Cheers!

Boy you are getting hammered. I post a photo of what it's going to look like in a week or so. Denver is so ugly right now. The air is so thick with pollution you could cut it with a knife. I want to go home!!!
